PILKINGTONS
BAR - TERRACE - KITCHEN

In late 2014, O2 Landscapes was asked to create an immersive potted garden for a new inner-city restaurant designed by Cheshire Architects. Created to look and feel like an orangery, the Pilkingtons, Bar-Terrace and Kitchen required a garden design that would not only engulf the courtyard in vegetation, but would do it in a way that was both diverse and refined. Drawing inspiration from the Italian hillsides, this garden combines flowering perennials with light green natives and edible fruit trees, to create a calm, quiet aesthetic, nestled within the centre of Auckland's busy CBD.
